I enjoy the fact that the mobile app does not demand Dozens of ridiculous permissions. It requires access but does not try to monitor contacts location, emails, or some of those privacy violating other programs request.
It is quick to set up and syncs using an online dashboard. It crunches the information if you are on the Premium program or by next day to the plan that is free, and pulls in data from all sources in the time.

In general, RescueTime’s categories are pretty good. Websites like Reddit, Facebook and Twitter are”Very Distracting”…for many people. And for general monitoring, RescueTime’s categories are quick & simple to fix.
But RescueTime’s classes News, sites and research websites’ subdomains.
I can not use the Get Focused! Performance for almost any Task that requires research (aka visiting a bunch of different websites).
The time I need smart blocking Performance is when I’m doing research for a post
There’s a fine line between which really is productive and When I am researching, This really is distracting. It’d be good to use RescueTime, but the categories are not true enough for this to work.
The Main issue is that the Block Sites function Is unavailable in reverse (ie, add specific sites to block). I can only add websites to unblock.
And when I’m visiting several websites were blocked by dozen — Adding them becomes time wasting.
If You’re Looking for an app that will block just Specific distracting sites — RescueTime isn’t it.
Effectiveness vs. Efficiency
