There is a fine line between which really is effective and This is distracting when I am researching. It’d be good to use RescueTime, but the categories are not accurate enough for it to work.
The Main issue is the Block Sites work Is not available in reverse (ie, add specific sites to block). I am only able to add sites to unblock.
And when I’m visiting websites were blocked by dozen — Adding them becomes time wasting.
If you are currently looking for an program that will block only Distracting sites — RescueTime is not it.
Effectiveness vs. Efficiency
