Generally, RescueTime’s classes good. Sites like Reddit, Facebook and Twitter are”Very Distracting”…for many people. And for tracking, RescueTime’s categories are quick & simple to repair.
However, RescueTime’s classes News, research websites and sites’ subdomains.
I can’t use the Get Focused! Functionality for almost any Task that needs research (aka visiting a bunch of different sites ).
Ironically, the time I need smart obstructing Functionality is when I am doing research for a post
There is a fine line between this is productive and When I am researching this is distracting. It’d be good to use RescueTime, but the classes are not true enough for this to operate.
The Main issue is that the Block Sites function Is unavailable in reverse (ie, add certain sites to block). I can only add websites to unblock.
And when I am visiting dozen blocked websites — Adding them becomes time wasting.
If You’re Looking for an program that will block just Specific deflecting sites — RescueTime is not it.
Effectiveness vs. Efficiency
